Lab coats are unisex and sized differently to regular clothes — so the size you wear in a shirt isn't necessarily your lab coat size. Here's the two-minute way to get it right first time.

The Easy Method: Compare a Coat You Already Own

You don't need to measure your body at all. Our Sizing Chart is built for comparing a garment you already have:

Find a coat, jumper or blazer you normally wear over other clothes — the same kind of layering a lab coat does
Lay it flat on a table and take three quick measurements:
- Chest: armpit to armpit
- Sleeve: shoulder seam to cuff
- Length: top of collar to hem
Match those numbers to the chart — every size from XXS to 3XL is listed with the exact measurements

Pick the size that matches most closely, and you're done.

The Rules of Thumb

Lab coats are cut loose on purpose. They're worn over clothing and need to move with you. If you're between sizes, go up
Check your sleeve length in the mirror once it arrives — the cuff should sit just past the wrist bone. This is the number one fit issue, and it's easy to check
Unisex sizing: don't assume your usual women's or men's size transfers — the flat-garment measurements are the reliable guide
